A single wood therapy session feels good and changes very little; a planned course, spaced correctly and supported by drainage where needed, is what shifts a measurement. Aftercare is set out plainly: hydration, movement, garment use where relevant, what to avoid and for how long. If a concern is medical rather than cosmetic, you are pointed to your GP, and post-surgical symptoms such as fever or spreading redness belong with your surgeon or NHS 111 rather than in a treatment room.
Wood therapy is cumulative. One session feels good; a course is what changes a measurement. We say that up front rather than selling a taster and hoping.
Shaping work on tissue that is still retaining fluid gives a misleading result. Drainage comes first where it is needed.
Dullness, laxity and texture are not volume problems. PRP, PRF, microneedling and mesotherapy address the skin itself, which is often what the client actually wanted.
